You get what you pay for, I suppose, and this was cheap. We were initially put in a twin room so small you couldn't open the closet without moving one of the beds. We complained, and got allocated to a so-called 3-bed room, but again it would have been incredibly cramped if there had been 3 of us. At least we could use one bed to store some of our stuff. The major problem was the noise - you could hear every bang of every door all night, as well as people talking loudly and moving, thanks to the wafer-thin walls and ceilings. This hotel is OK for a cheap night or two within easy reach of the railway station, but if you plan to stay for a week or more and can possibly afford somewhere quieter and nicer, go for it! You could use the Transit Hotel as a one-night stop while you explore other accommodation choices, for example with the help of the Barcelona Tourist Information office, who don't have Transit on their list (for good reason!)

me parecio un hotel bastante lamentable, mas que hotel parecia una pension. llegamos y nos dieron una habitacion sin limpiar, tuvimos que cambiarnos de habitacion, y despues de dejar las maletas y ropa colgada salimos del hotel a dar una vuelta, cuando llegamos a las 4.00 de la madrugada cual fue nuestra sorpresa, teniamos las maletas en recepcion y la ropa que estaba colgada en bolsas, y nos dijeron que la primera habitacion ya estaba limpia y que nos volvian a cambiar. cansados que veniamos tuvimos que coger las cosas y subirlas nosotros mismos a la habitacion. y otro cosa mas el desayuno lamentable en una bolsa de plastico nos dieron un zumo de carton y un yogurt. desde luego no recomiendo a nadie este hotel. y no creo que vuelva a sacar un hotel en esta pajina.

建物･部屋はそれなりに古いが、不潔な感じはしない。 ベッドメイクや掃除も毎日きちんとしてくれる。 備品では、ドライヤーがなかったのは困った。 Sants駅から近く、交通には便利。レストランやスーパーも近い。 豪華さとは無縁だが、安くて便利なホテルだった。

Très bien situé à côté de la gare de Sants et à deux pas de la place d'Espagne. Il ne faut pas être exigeant: les chambres sont basiques, mais le service est plutôt agréable. Oubliez le petit dèj par contre : minimaliste et pas très bon (boulangerie et supermarché à côté). On va dire que cet hôtel convient pour ceux qui recherchent un endroit où se reposer quelques heures entre deux journées de visite de Barcelone ...

un hôtel 1*, donc pas très luxueux mais propre et très correct. bon acceuil du personnel, et proche du métro donc toute la ville à disposition. bon rapport qualité/prix. à recommander

Average hotel with helpful staff, facilities are what you pay for. As a short term stay it was ideal.

Rooms are suprisingly small, furniture is very old. Hotel is extremly noisy by night. Safety mesaures almost not exsist. Hotel Transit need complete renovation. They needed renovation about 20 years ago, I think. Moreover, only one metro station from the Transit you may find hostels with much better (single or dobule bed) rooms for the similar price. Altough, Transit is on good location between railroad central station in Barcelona and Espanya square and only 15 minutes by metro from La Rambla and the center of the town...

The receptionists all speak excellent English (something which is not a given in Spain)! They are also extremely friendly. Our only misgiving is the complete and utter lack of soundproofing in the rooms.

Una localización muy buena cerca de sants y cerca de otras lineas de metro importantes.

Le petit dejeuner compris n'est pas digne d'un petit déjeuner il serait préférable de ne pas le proposer plutot que de donner un sac plastique sans boisson chaude et une collation plus que frugale. Peut être passer une convention avec le bar de la rue.

The TV did not work. There were no glasses at the room. The breakfast did not include any bread or any hot drinks, coffee or tea, just bad things as a small muffins, a piece of marmelade, a warm yoghurt and lemonade. That is not what we call a breakfast in Sweden. One of the portier was service minded.

No sirven desayuno, la toalla muy pequeña.

Hôtel très vétuste, limite propre, plomberie hors d'age qui fuit en continu (pas bon pour la planète !), aucune serviette le premier jour, petit déjeuner qui n'en est pas un ... Seul bon point : l'emplacement, à 10 mn à pied de la place d'Espagne. Quant au prix : en France pour ce prix là on a au moins un Etap Hôtel.

If you want to go cheaply, this place is just fine!

Este hotel está bien para hacer noche en barcelona ya que está al lado de la estación de Sants. En cuanto a las instalaciones, no te falta agua caliente pero el hotel no tiene nada de nuevo. El armario es pequeño ya que la caja fuerte te quita la mitad de espacio para colgar la ropa. En fin, depende de las exigencias que tenga cada uno.

Very unfortunate smells coming from the room next door. The smells hit you in the stomach on the landing, but also invaded our room.Very pervasive. Only managed to get it seen to on day 2. It was a Japanese person who was an enthusiastic consumer of very high smelling fish and meat products which he stored in his room, WITHOUT a fridge. Bad experience!

La habitación no estaba mal pero encuentro que no tenía una buena relación precio/calidad. El desayuno consistía en un yogurt, un jugo en caja, un muffin y una mermelada chica. Buena ubicación para llegar e irse al aeropuerto.

サンツ駅から近い場所だが、あいにく工事中でずっと地下鉄タラゴナ駅を使ったが、まあまあ便利だった。一日目はお部屋の掃除が来なかったが、２日目は来た。朝食はヨーグルト、マドレーヌ、オレンジジュースが袋に入っていて、毎日同じ。一日目はスプーンが切れているということで、結局ヨーグルトは食べられず。自販機で水を買ったら、お釣りが足りず。などなど、非常に問題満載の面白いホテルだった。

Hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of Sants and Tarragona - beware though, taxi drivers often mistake Carrer de Mallorca, that leads off Carrer Tarragona to the hotel for another. Rooms are small - you can't swing a kitten in there, let alone an adult cat...! Suitcase standing only. But since you are there for having a good kip it's adequate for the money. Bathroom better than more expensive hotels in Rome! Take away breakfast - ask.

Location very good if you reach by train from the airport. And the you have the metro to go to the center, where the expensive hotels are locater, just minutes from there. Very small room. There are few restaurants near, but good and cheap. Ask the people in the hotel

The Hotel is very well located if you use the train from the airport, you have good transports por every part of the city. + cleanliness, pricing - you dont have bars or animations near de the hotel

seule critique: très très bruyant. Pas d'isolation phonique et des clients très festifs qui font énormément de bruit la nuit. Pas de possibilité de déjeuner. Acès très facile. Confort honnête
