excellent location. Plaza Cataluna and las Ramblas are very close by the hotel and there is wonderful access to all parts of the city from there. I went in August and the restaurant was closed (I believe that it is also closed for a week or two in July). I was very happy with the accomodation.

We were so pleased with our recent stay and will recommend this hotel highly to our friends and family. It's very centrally located on quiet, mostly pedestrian streets with a small park square behind the hotel. It's only about three blocks to a central metro stop and two blocks from a large local food market. Two beautiful cathedrals and meandering cobbled streets are easily walked to, and it's only a block from the main street, Las Ramblas. The rooms were a nice size, included a mini 'fridge, and small balconies. The desk service was polite and knowledgable. I do suggest that the hotel put driving directions on their website. I happened on a traveler's walking directions on the internet. It's such a small street, that most taxi drivers don't know where it is or how to get to it as so many of the nearby streets are blocked for pedestrians. We had to be let out at the very busy Las Ramblas and walk the rest of the way with our luggage.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral und auch ziemlich ruhig, da in einer Seitengasse gelegen und aufgrund von Lärmschutzfenstern. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful rooms on a quiet street with excellent location

Very nice hotel, but location is a little dubious at night as streets are quite deserted at night. Despite this, we did not really feel unsafe. However, you do need to be aware of persons around you at such times.

Great location. HORRIBLE staff at front desk. No bar, small lobby, small rooms. Clean, but beware that the cups and glasses in your room are all cleaned with a cloth!!!!

Ruhig und zentral gelegenes Hotel in der Altstadt. Zimmer war sehr klein, mit Klimaanlage, Minibar. Betten auf Rollen, rutschen schnell auseinander - nichts für Leute mit ausgeprägtem Liebesleben.... Sehr opulentes Frühstücksbuffet, wirklich sehr gut. Preis zahlbar, 106 Euro fürs Zimmer bezahlt. Empfehlenswert.

Hotel agréable, bien placé .Petits déjeuners tres variés et tres copieux .Le seul point noir concerne l'accès des véhicules à l'hotel puisque celui-ci est en zone pietonne . Le garage est à quelques minutes à pied ( 3mn environ).

Everything was ok: location (very central), room (small but quiet, clean and new furniture, bath state of the art), breakfast (very good quality, fresh and good variety), service nice.

Excellent hôtel très central et cependant très calme. Seule l'arrivée en voiture est un peu problématique.

Hotel was better than we expected, great location, good sized clean rooms/bathrooms, breakfasts were exceptional, waitresses very friendly & polite. Would recommend this hotel to friends - couldn't fault it! As others had recommended we tried the Bagel shop round the corner - very tasty!

Very friendly and service oriented staff. Wonderfull breakfast buffet which was refilled untill the last minutes before the buffet was closed down.

A very clean comfortable hotel, in a quiet road just off of the main tourist centre of Barcelona. Spacious rooms and a breakfast fit for a king!

The hotel was excellent, quiet but very central, close to a metro station. Staff were friendly and helpful free maps from reception. The breakfast had hot and cold foods and there was plently of choice to suit all tastes.
