hotel bien situé et globalement calme, salle de bain dans chaque chambre. Bien qu'ancien, hotel d'un bon rapport qualité/prix.

A small compact room but with everything I needed for my stay. I didn't come to Barcelona to stay in my hotel room- I wanted to get out and explore and needed a hotel that was conveniently located, cheap and cheerful. This hotel provided all this and more. It was exceptionally clean. It was a bit tricky to find as it is located in an apartment block and you have to go up several floors to find the hotel floor- I think the other floors might be private apartments. Nonetheless, once we worked this out it only added to the charm as we felt right in the centre of Barcelona. The breakfast is served down the road in another hotel but again we felt like we were mixing with the locals as they came in and had their coffee here too. It is right next to a tube station which is excellent for getting around.

Es muy ruidoso se escucha todo lo que se habla en las otras habitaciones, es costoso para lo que ofrece.

This hotel had the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in since staying at a 5 star resort in Dubai. Wonderful.

Små rum med slitna möbler. Helt OK för enbart övernattningar.

APPARTE IL CANTIERE SOTTOSTANTE, E' UN ALBERGO CARINO PER QUELLO CHE COSTA E' VERAMENTE OK. E' VICINO AL MARE E VICINO AL CENTRO, ALLA RAMBLAS, A DUE PASSI ANCHE UNA FERMATA DELLA METRO (BARCELONETA). SE DOVESSI TORNARE A BARCELONA TORNEREI LI!!

The staff speak NO English.The rooms are poorly decorated/furnished/cramped, with little or no natural light, TV(Spanish channels only).A hairdryer (on request) which has loose wires & broken casing.From your room you will hear everything, the conversations in other rooms, everyone coming & going, reception telephone/door bell ringing, the nocturnal noises (loud snoring & flatulance) of the night porter who sleeps in the reception area. Or he will have the TV on and the volume turned up high. I also had someone trying to open my door during the night, the reception is supposed to have 24hr cover(even if they were sleeping) it did not leave you feeling very secure. More than once the main door to the hotel was open, i was able to lift my own key without being seen. No one spoke English I was unable to find out if they had a safe desposit box or if they held luggage if your flight was later than the check out time of 12noon.

neat but very old without any luxuary

the hotel was cheap - but I at least expected lights that worked!! The smell of the building left something to be desired. It was noisy and shared its location with private apartments.

Trés bien situé, à 2 pas du port de plaisance et juste à quelques minutes de l'animation du centre, sans les inconvénients du bruit. Acceueil chaleureux, litterie simple mais propre, salle de bain correcte si on n'utilise pas les produits à disposition (savons remis dans leur sachets d'origine après usage!...). Globalement, bon point de chute en solo.

Per chi non ha grosse esigenze ma solo una stanza per dormire. Pulito. Ubicazione vicina al centro storico. Un po' rumoroso per il viavai dei clienti.

Very very small rooms and bathrooms (although bathroom size not matter that much) - incredibly noisy rooms - mine was just off reception so could here everything that went on and the night receptionist fell asleep snoring/ snorting so loudly that woke me up. Hotel actually very hard to find - lucky you had a picture of the entrance gate on your website). Had to press buzzer each time you wanted to get into the hotel as they would not provide a key to the gate.

A good low budget hotel if all you are looking for is a place to sleep at night! There are no added facilities like room service, however the staff are friendly and helpfull. Good location with the metro 2min away and it is a step away from the Barri Gothic district.

There were bugs in the room.

Cortesia e un ottimo prezzo per chi non necessita di grandi servizi ma solo di una camera pulita per dormire dopo la giornata di giro turistico.

Al nostro arrivo al Lyon ci ha accolto una gentile signora che ci ha informate che la nostra camera non era disponibile. Niente paura! L'hotel si appoggia ad un altro albergo, il Santa Marta lontano non più di 20 mt dal primo. I voti espressi sopra si riferiscono, quindi, a quest'ultimo e non al Lyon. Entrambi, comunque, sono vicinissimi al metrò Barceloneta, al complesso del Maremagnum ed alla stazione Franca; a 15 min di taxi dalla stazione del Nord (per chi vola Ryanair è comodo saperlo...) ed a 20min. a piedi dalla Rambla. Ok il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

The room is very small. Air condition is very noisy and unefficient. There are people in the hallway talking day and night (probably, people, who work in the hotel and their relatives). The price for these terrible conditions should be 20-25 dollars per night, not more. We remember these two nights that we spent in Lyon hotel as a nightmare. Isaac Sonin.

Very much noise from recption area - impossible to sleep without ear plugs.

Very good location - 10 minutes from the Picasso Museum and the Gothic Quarter and 15 minutes from the main beach walk. It was very clean and the service was very friendly. Excellent value and would reccomend it to anybody who just wants a clean room.

Nella scelta era apparso come hotel a 3 stelle. Di fatto è ad una stella. Molto modesto. La stanza che ci ha accolto puzzava terribilmente di fumo e non è bastato tenere la finestra sempre aperta per risolvere l'inconveniente. Sensazione generale di sporcizia. Assolutamente da escludere.

Very drab facility. Checked out and got a different hotel before I even unpacked.

The only room available was adjacent to the office and we were subjected to incessant snoring of the night watchman in addition to occasional phone calls and front doorbells. We could not sleep and left after the first night. The condition of the furniture and doors of our room was less than desirable. The hotel was very understanding and told us they would not charge us for the stay.

The description of the hotel as tastefully furnished to portray the ultimate comfort and style was indeed very misleading. The room was rather ugly - floor, painting, the doors, and also the furniture. During our stay in Spain with 16 different places to sleep this was one of the ugliest. The location, on the 2.floor, and an oldfashioned lift with room for one person+one suitcase, was also unexpected. The picture of the out-door gate gave a somewhat queer impression! The pricing was too high!

Aconselho aquando a reserva, pedir um quarto o mais afastado possível da recepção. A recepção fica junto de alguns quartos e em termos de sossego não é o mais apropriado. A limpeza é feita diariamente e a localização é boa, perto de locais de interesse e em termos de transportes é muito perto da estação de comboio, metro e autocarro. Pelo preço, o Hotel é razoavel. Para uma estadia de 1 ou 2 noites o máximo serve perfeitamente mas muito básico e simples.

Very easy to get to from Gerona airport. Drink making facilities in the lobby were adequate.

My friend and I were booked into the Lyon Hotel last Sunday evening however, when we arrived, we found it to be like a prison.. it was dirty the staff were smoking and could not speal english at all. They advised us that they only had one person booked into the hotel when there was 2 of us. We argued and they tried to advise that we could not stay.. it was an awful experience. Anyway, if you go to this hotel (if you musgt) please take all your paperwork and invoices etc.. they did finally book us into the sister hotel. the Santa Martia round the corner.. which was a lot better.

El hotel esta bien lo unico un poco viejo, y su ubicacion si uno quiere juerga (marcha) no es la mejor, pero es una buena alternativa tiene metro muy cerca

Quartier relativement bruyant mais pratique car tout près de la gare. Très sommaire et relativement propre mais la patronne et le prix sont très sympa!!!

El servicio en el hotel mismo es bueno. El personal del hotel, me refiero a la gente del aseo y la persona de la receoción está bien, pero el desayuno era desastroso. El pan estaba añejo, daba la impresión de que lo habían dejado servido la noche anterior, el café tenía sarro y era intomable y solamente había dulces que yo personalmente no puedo consumir por motivos de salud y además no me gusta.

No parece un hotel, si no una pensión de hace muchísimos años, muy desgastada, todo viejo y medio roto. Horrible. No deberían permitir que llamen hotel a lo que no lo es.

Ambiente molto confortevole e alla mano, tutto il personale è stato molto disponibile a tutte le ore. Zona ottima.

It is the most basic of hotels, basically a room with a bed and bathroom. But I learnt long ago that all one really does in a hotel while on holiday, is sleep, one needs no more than that. The staff are pretty friendly as well

Facilities are very limited but for a cheap clean friendly place this hotel is excellent. Ideal if you expect to go out and enjoy Barcelona!

The hotel Lyon provides cheap basic accommodaton, but it had everything we needed. Ensuite bathroom & air-con in a convienient location. The service was excellent, much better than I expected from basic accommodation.

Good hotel for the money and short stay

Ein super kleines hotel in der 2. und 3. etage eines wohnhauses. Die lage ist ideal 2 min jeweils zum strand und zum hafen und ca 200 m von der metrostation barceloneta. ich kanns nur jedem empfehlen, der nur etwas zum übernachten braucht.

Es ist sehr ruhig und nahe der Restaurants wie zum Zentrum gelegen. Die Zimmer sind in Miniatur-Form gehalten aber sauber. Man verfehlt das Hotel von aussen fast, da es nicht klar deklariert ist. Günstiges Angebot das ausreicht für alle die eh nur duschen und übernachten und dann lieber viel Zeit in der Stadt verbringen.

Pictures on internet do not match with the real thing. It is not a HOTEL, it is a Hostal on a 3rd floor. Dirty, expensive (I would not pay more than €40), breakfast was not good. I am really disappointed.

Main problem was the staff didn't speak English, stayed there for two nights, the first night he was trying to explain something to me in Spanish, took about 20 minutes before he got his friend to translate who told me I was staying in another that night. The next night I stayed in this one, basic room, bed, wardrobe and toilet. Noise from kitchens all night even when window was shut. The owner had a go at me the next day (in spanish) as I took my room key out with me which there was no signs telling me not to. Just a warning.
