Stayed at this delightful hotel with my daughter for the first weekend in December and enjoyed all the Christmas markets. Found the hotel reception extremely friendly and welcoming, which after a long trip from Australia is appreciated. Room and bathroom were elegant, freshly decorated and spotless. Breakfast was more than adequate and served in style. The hotel was in a quiet area and about 10 minutes walk from Museum. Highly recommended.
Good clean hotel on edge of city centre. Good position for exploring Prague. Very good buffet breakfast.
Very clean and very friendly hotel not so far from Old Town. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed 3 nights at the hotel and although basic the facilities were adequate and the breakfast excellent. All major sites were in walking distance but the tram and metro were also close by.
Great Hotel... The area was nice and the proximity to Old Town and Wenceles Square are great. I would stay again when I visit Prague.
The Lunik Hotel is very clean, and the staff friendly and their English is good. The food was nice. The rooms are similar to a travel lodge in the UK. The hotel is within good walking distant of the site. Could do with having more pillows on the bed, we would happily use the hotel again. Jay & Lisa - South Wales - UK
The reception staff were very helpful, friendly. There is free internet there too! Nice breakfast, great coffee. The hotel is so very close to Wenceslas Square, National Museum, and has great tram and metro access. The restaurant next door (Bumerang) is good too, as is the Mexican place round the corner. I would certainly stay there again.
The Hotel was clean and basic, but good enough for a short break where cost and convenience were the criteria. In terms of location, its a good 20 minute walk into the Old Square which might put some people off, but overall a good base for exploring the city.
1. Not enough no-smoking rooms. 2. No alternative breakfast service before 8 a.m.
Excellent location for access to Metro system. Hotel is very clean and although not smartly decorated, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff are very helpful and speak good English. Selection of food at breakfast buffet was excellent. Amazingly good value. Highly recommended and I will return.
Dining room staff very unfriendly - neither of the two ladies working in dining room as much as had a smile or a good morning for the guests. A young gentleman receptionist (night shift) was the only friendly face in the Lunik Hotel.
Reasonable hotel for that price in Prague. Just beware of taxi drivers called by the hotel, I asked them to call for me official taxis, on two consequtive days. The same driver arrived on both days, without a meter in his cab (official taxis in Prague should have meters). For the same destination, the driver charged me 500 Kr. on the first day, and 400 Kr. on the second day! Obviously he didn't recognise us.
Very good room, we were on the 5th floor, friends had room on 2nd floor and that wasn't so good. Try and get the 5th floor. Breakfast basic but ok could do with a few extra tables as we had to wait for a table on a couple of occasions. The location is good with only a 10 min stroll to Wenceslas Sq little bit seedy on route but we didn't have or see any problems. We were able to store our luggage free of charge after checkout till we left for airport. Good 3 star hotel would recommend

requested quiet, non-smoking room with bath received noisey sun/street facing, smoking , no bath, no airconditing, had to leave window open all day night, so noisier and hotter. slept with ear plugs and mask. spent first sight-seeing day looking for another hotel, then lunik found non-smoking room 2 floors above. still noisey, hot. i wouldn't stay there again-the tea and coffee at breakfast undrinkable. hotel not within walking distance of main sights, 2 or 3 metro stops.
This hotel is only about 5 minutes walk from the South end of Wenceslas Square and about two minutes walk from Namesti Miru or I.P. Pavlova underground stations. The Old Town square is an easy walk of about 15 minutes. Our room appeared to have been renovated recently and was spotlessly clean. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful. We would recommend this hotel as a base for your stay in Prague
I booked this Hotel after reading other peoples reviews and I wasn't disappointed. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. It was in an excellent location - about 5-10 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square, and the room was very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again as it was very good value.
We enjoyed our week's stay. Nice, clean hotel, with friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, sets you up for the day. Very near Metro and trams, which we used a lot. 5 mins. from Wenceslaus square with a good variety of eateries. A good base for all the Wonders of Prague
Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean hotel, small rooms but more than adequate. Very well located for metros and trams and is only 30min walk from Charles Bridge. An excellent budget hotel.
Paying extra for the in room safe is a little irritating, especially as it's an old fashioned type with a key rather than the 4 digit code digital one. the safe was also too small. Other than that a nice hotel with friendly front desk staff.
A nice clean friendly hotel with very good service. Well located near namesti miro metro station in a pleasant area. We would definitiley use it again.

The major problem I had with this hotel was that we stayed in a triple room, which ended up being just a double room with an extra bed squeezed in there. Since the rooms were already small, we didn't even have space to put down our luggage! The location, however, was good (it was actually 5 min from Wenceslas Square) and the staff was friendly. My advice - for a single or double room this hotel is a good bet. For a triple, find a hotel with a larger room.
My wife and I were not expecting too much from a low budget hoteland on drawing up in the taxi I wondered if we had been over optomistic, but the unfailing pleasant and helpful manner of the duty staff couldn't be faulted and the room was very plain but always clean, although a new carpet would not have gone amiss. All in all counting the convenience of the location we considered we got good value for money.
The Hotel is well situated, 5 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square and nearest Metro station. Desk is manned 24 hours a day, staff are pleasant and helpful, rooms quite spacious. Only drawback would be lack of tea/coffee making facilities but believe this is a general statement for similar hotels in Prague. All in all a nice, comfortable hotel, we would definately stay there again.
Service excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, linen towels etc first class. Food very good and plentiful. Location could have been better but fine for your first time in Prague with trams conveniently placed.

Fairly good and clean hotel. Central location. Staff friendly
This hotel was better than we anticipated and ideally located for sightseeing in Prague and is only 100m from a Metro station or 5-6 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square. Many of the rooms are recently refurbished and work was underway to renovate the rest (no noise experienced during our 3 night stay). The en-suite was shower only but had a hairdryer. Breakfast was as you would imagine, some basic cereal and then (nice) bread, cold meats, cheese and salad.
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Lunik in March and had a wonderful time. Its a cheaper end hotel, but the rooms were clean and cosy. The breakfast was adequate and the staff very friendly. It snowed during our stay and the view down the street from our room was lovely. The location is in the newer part of town that is not particualy attractive but very handly for all the local sights. The i.p Pavlova tram stop and metro is just around the corner and that links to all the sights in Prague. One street away is the nightclub Radost fx which even if you do not like nightclubs has a lovely late night food area. I have stayed in more expesive hotels and not had as nice a time, so would definitely stay here again.
Confortevole, pulito, personale gentilissimo.
Hotel facilities were fairly basic but more than adequate for our needs - room and bathroom were very clean, and a cold buffet breakfast was provided. The location is a little bit out of the way of the main shopping and sightseeing areas, but it's not a particularly long walk (and the area seemed pretty safe) or there are metro and tram stops two minutes away from the hotel. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Excellent location. Only 5 minutes walk from two metro stations and tram station. Very clean, excellent service. They make you feel like home. The only disadvantage is that there is no air - condition.
A conseillé vivement .
the best 3 star hotel that I have ever been to. 4 star service and facilities. Strongly recommended. Definitely will stay there again when I go to Prague next time.
Nice quiet spot.
Highly recommended! Extremely clean & great location, close to the metro! Would highly recommend this hotel & would have no hesitation in staying there again!
Very clean rooms and location is great - still in walking distance to main centre and Charles bridge. Breakfast provided was simple but good and staff were friendly.
Very nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Only a 10 minute walk to the main square.
Hotel recomendable.
A very clean and welcoming hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Easy access to transport system, although main attractions are also within walking distance.
Good value for money. 5 minute walk from Metro stop. About 7 or 8 minutes walk from Wenceslas square and a further 7 or so minutes to Old Town Square. Free internet access in lobby is also a big plus!
We loved this hotel. It was very comfortable, with excellent service in a convenient neighbourhood. Definitely a bargain.
Very impressed with this hotel and its very friendly staff. The hotel is very close to metro and tram and is close to some very nice cosy bars and restaurants.Try to find the tiny bar not far from hotel with pints of excellent beer for less than a euro. The double room was spacious and very clean. Breakfasts were very good with a great selection on offer and the bread ham and cheese,s were of a high quality. I intend to return to this lovely city and will stay in this hotel.
Really good hotel in all ways. I recommend it very much. Top value for the money!
The hotel is situated in a quiet location but not too far from the action (with the aid of a good street map). Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and speak pretty good English (some excellent). We enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again.
Would happily stay there again.
The hotel was perfect for what my girlfriend and I were looking for. It was within easy walking distance of Wenceslas Square and very close to a main tram route which takes you anywhere in the city within minutes and cost about £6 for a week's unlimited ticket, which also included the underground. Very clean and very comfortable and overall very good value for money.
Very impressed with this little hotel and would definitely recommend it. Our room was absolutely spotless and was recently refurnished, as I believe are all the rooms. Staff were extremely helpful and very accomodating. Free (unlimited) internet access from the lobby was also a nice touch. Wencelas Sq. is only about 15mins walking distance, which is very managable on a nice day, and if u don't fancy d walk the underground is literally only around d corner from d hotel and only two stops away from the city centre. All in all I thought The Lunik Hotel was excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again if I ever returned to Prague.
Excellent value. Excellent location - quiet but easy metro ( 2 lines ) or tram to city centre, river and castle. Very clean and helpful. I shall definitely use this hotel again. Recommended.
A family run hotel who couldn't help enough. If I go back to Prague I would stay there again.
An absolutely brilliant hotel. Immaculately clean with facilities so modern I would guess it had just been refurbished. Everything is astonishingly good value. Recommend this hotel.
The location is good and close to a bridge with access to Margaret Island. The staff is very friendly and all seem to speak english. I think the best part was the food served in the hotel - it tasted great and was served in ample proportions.
Very clean and nice breakfast - would recommend.
Loved the hotel, the location was brilliant and so were the staff. Would not heistate staying there should I go back
Very friendly, helpful staff. Quiet location, but within easy walking distance of main historical sights.
The hotel is very near the square and close to the metro to get around. The room was very nice and the breakfasts very good. The staff was helpful. I would stay there again.
A very nice hotel conveniently close to Wenceslas Square and the Metro. Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and good breakfasts. I would not hesitate to stay again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay in Prague. The Lunik Hotel was first class, the room was very clean, fresh towels every day in the bathroom and a good choice for the continental breakfast.
Staff very friendly and helpful. location-in a quiet street - good access to all areas. two metros less than 3 minute walk. Would reccommend it and return when next in prague.
HOTEL STAFF VERY HELPFULL AND PLEASANT... IDEALLY SITUATED ,CLOSE TO BARS AND RESTAURANTS, AND FIVE MINUTES WALK FROM WENCESLAS SQUARE.
The Lunik hotel was clean, basic but more than adequate. the location is excellent, only around ten mins from the main tourist area, Wenceslas Square. Here you can shop or catch the underground trains or overhead trams, which are very clean and efficient. The breakfast is typically European ie bread, cheese, pastries, ham etc. However there is plenty and you can eat as much as you want. I would recommend the Lunik and if staying in Prague again I would have no reservations in staying again.
Small, but very nice hotel in a good surrounding! Old town and city centre is close and very easy to reach. Absolutely recommendable.
We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Lunik, and would stay there again.
The staffs are all very friendly and helpful. They allowed us an early check in when we arrived. They even packed our breakfast for us when we were rushing for an early flight. I would certainly stay in this hotel again if I'm back in Prague.
Good value!
The Hotel Lunik is ideally located within easy walking distance of the Square, excellent restaurants, the Metro and tram stations (watch out for pickpocket gangs in public places though, I was robbed on the Metro). The hotel rooms while not large, are very adequate, clean and comfortable. The hotel represents very good value for money in a city where accommodation is relatively expensive.
A good, simple hotel that may not have all the luxuries but has everything you need, and very friendly staff. The rooms are small but spotless, and there are two Metro stops nearby.
I would certainly recommend this hotel! It was a great location for a first stay in Prague, walking distance to everything and very close to metro and trams. The staff was really pleasent and helpful. Clean and nice rooms.
Hotel is very well situated close to 2 metro stations - Nam. Miru and IP Pavlova. 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Very clean and good choices at breakfast. Staff are very helpful and friendly and speak excellent English. They will order a taxi to take you back to the airport - which is only about 30 minutes drive away. Nice to be able to open a window! Will return here again.
Very comfortable - recently refurbished (late 2005) - helpful reception staff - good location convenient for two metro lines and the tram (with an all-night service). Breakfast - cold meats, cheese, breads, jam, orange juice etc provided buffet-style, but you can request boiled or scrambled egg. Internet connections in rooms for your own laptop (foc) and computer for guest use in reception. Restaurants nearby recommended by reception decent
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Lunik. Everyone was very friendly. The breakfast was good. The location was just right for being able to walk into the centre. We would recommend it.
If the shower space could be bigger, it would be better.
Excellent value -- you don't pay for frills such as porters (carry your bags by lift/elevator), lounges, etc. Room very good (tho only twin beds), but no fridge (but ice and cold drinks available from reception), and (curtained) shower cubicle small. V good buffet breakfast. V well situated between Namesti Miru and IP Pavlova metro stations and tram routes, with lots of good nearby restaurants (recommend: Pivovarsky Dum restaurant with micro-brewery). In a pleasant, tree-lined, quiet side-street -- but in hot weather you may want the double-glazed windows open, and all-night trams in the nearby main street can be noisy. But still better than most Prague hotels for this.
Lovely people at the hotel, and it's in a great location not far from the main attractions of the city, absolutely walking distance. My only criticism is having the smoking area right next to the reception by the free internet - and I am a smoker myself. It's just a bit much.
Only two places in a very narrow garage and more or less impossible to park on the street
The reception staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. They provided user friendly maps, details of the trams and tubes and provided tickets for no extra charge and explained how to use them. This is the second time we have used this hotel and would certainly return again.
Could not fault the hotel. Location was excellent. Room, Service and Staff were also excellent. I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends.
Hotel is very central. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
An excellent hotel, within walking distance of most places you want to see and yet quiet at night so you could sleep. Clean, comfortable, modern, really safe and really good value - the best bit of our stay in Prague. You can rent an in-room safe for 50 crowns a night, which is well worth it even though the hotel has excellent security. One word of warning - taxis ordered by the hotel - whilst a fixed price - cost a great deal more than they need to (eg one of our trips cost 300 crowns going but only 128 coming back). It's worth learning the Czeck for show us the taximeter and switch it on or we're getting out, if you can find out how to say it - we couldn't and were ripped off over and over again.
Staff spoke good English. A fan in the room in the summer momnths would have been useful as the vey handy trams were also very noisy during the night. Basic breakfast but it was all there Location was excellent- quite close to Wenceslas Square, trams and Metro just 150 metres away.
Ideally situated near to underground and trams but within easy walking distance to Wenslecas Square and Old Town Staff very friendly and helpful and will suggest restaurants and places to visit We have visited Prague three times and stayed twice at [this hotel] and would definately stay there again on our fourth visit.
The room was a bit hot - no air conditioning.
The only minus is that there is no minibar (meaning no fridge). Otherwise it is a bit expensive, but Prague is probably one of the most expensive places to stay anyway. I paid 60 euro for London and Paris and 92 for Prague, all in three star hotels! Overall, without having stayed in any other hotel in Prague I might choose it again next time.
staff made you very welcome and helpful.will definitely stay at hotel on our next visit to prague
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Even if it was the 22nd of December and most of the staff wanted to leave for the Christmas break, they were able to be very flexible about my needs and my check-out time.
Checa. El hotel es recomendable.
Recommended for family. The lady at the reception was very helpful. Free internet facility at the entrance lobby & also in the room (if you have your own laptop) was very useful. Would stay here again.
Nice hotel with excellent location. The size of the rooms was very good. The only thing that could be better, was the brekfast.
I had a great stay. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room.
The Lunik Hotel location was just as stated in your details, just a short walk from Wenseslas Square. Great location for the trams and metro and the price was great, and very clean. I had my purse stolen from my handbag in Old Town and the staff and the owner of the hotel were excellent with the help they gave us. They couldn't do any more for us, to may our stay a good one. I would recommend the hotel. Thanks very much. Karen Probert South Wales
Very helpful staff - spoke good English!!
Very good quality for a reasonable price. The location is both quiet and next to the city centre. On week ends they serve breakfast until 11 o'clock, which is important for an Italian girl who loves sleeping till late! I definitely recommend Lunik Hotel in Prague.
The staff at the hotel were friendly, and the reception staff were helpful and spoke good English. The location of the hotel was also good. All in all a very pleasant stay.
Nothing fancy, just a clean nice place to stay that was close to transportation and Wenceslas Square.
Comfortable beds, good breakfast, English spoken at the desk.
I`t s a small clean nice hotel rather central about 5 minutes walk from Vaclac place. I can really recommended it.

The hotel is quite good located, 5 min from Wenceslao pl, and 2 min from the subway (Nam. miru or Pavlova). Staff very friendly Free internet connection in the rooms. A computer at the reception can be also used for internet. I would stay there again
This was my second stay at Lunik Hotel and it was even better than the first time. The staff is very helpful and kind, there is free internet access and the breakfast is served until 11 on week ends. Rooms are very nice. The bathroom is little but very clean. The hotel is not far from the centre and in any case there are two different underground stops very near, plus tram just behind the corner. I definitely recommend Lunik Hotel.
Good basic B&B hotel for the money, Room a bit small and no bath, shower only in our room but very clean and functional. Breakfast the usual continental. 150 metres from I P Pavlova Metro stop. Would stay here again.
Great deal for the price. Quiet street, less than 2 blocks from 2 different metro lines. Comfortable bed, very good breakfast, free computer with internet in reception area for guests. Only complaint is tiny Euro shower, no bathtub. Also, the single room was very small, better to pay the difference for a double room even for one person.
Small hotel ... 2 out of 4 floors being refurbished during our stay... ouch! Facilities pretty basic. However room was spotless (ask for one to the front) and breakfast though basic, was ample. Staff could have been friendlier ... they've yet to get to grips on the whole hospitality thing. Location good ... 5 mins walk to top of Wenc sq, all trams around the corner, good bar 3 doors down from hotel.
The hotel was superb, but on our last night, the noise from across the road was diabolical. This was from the renovations of a T-mobile shop that went on for the whole night.
Overall we found this hotel to be very good value for money, the rooms were well maintained to an excellent standard. It is based in a quiet area of the city but within a 20 minute walk you can be in the centre of the Old Town. Our only complaint would be the level of customer service that was given by both the hotel staff and in most of the places visited. We found we barely got a smile out of anyone and being nice to customers was too much trouble.
Although situated out of the central area the hotel is just minutes away from a metro station (green line) and 2 tram stops. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Overall our stay at the Lunik Hotel was very enjoyable. We are already talking of a re-visit next year with friends, and would not hesitate in recommending to anyone who is planning a visit to Prague
Best hotel with reasonable price.Clean rooms, friendly staff and good location at the hearth of the Prague. Only the poor point is breakfast service.
We were impressed with the well - appointed rooms, although tea/ coffee- making facilities would be good. Also the availability of a fan in very hot weather, would have been appreciated.
Standard of cleansliness excellent, staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good with fresh fruit and biscuits/cakes as well as the usually items supplied as a continental breakfast. Location very good, within easy walking distance to the town centre and the trams and metro for more extensive travel, Good restaurants serving excellent food at reasonable prices within a few minutes walk of the hotel
Good hotel. I would stay there again if I went back.
